Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Commercial Real Estate Loan Coordinator will work closely with the Sr. CRE Loan Coordinator and be responsible for making sure we have all required documents from the borrower. The CRE Loan Coordinator will also be responsible for verifying that all post-closing documents are both in our system and in the shared drive. This position will play a huge role in assisting the Sr. CRE Loan Coordinator in day to day operations and really working as a team to help move the loans along smoothly. Looking for someone who is highly motivated, willing to learn, a team player and a hard worker.


ESSTENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Order and track environmental site assessments, physical inspection reports, preliminary title reports, credit reports and other third-party reports to ensure timely receipt for new and serviced transactions as required.
  • Posting and tracking of borrower deposits received.
  • Authorize payment of invoices for reports and other related processing/transactions expenses.
  • Assist loan processors and underwriters in clearing pre-funding conditions.
  • Upon closing, transfer file to servicing and assist in boarding.
  • Follow-up and monitor outstanding SNDAs and Estoppels.
  • Conduct post-closing file reviews and facilitate outstanding information.
  • Follow-up as required to obtain title insurance policies, recorded mortgage and other security instruments, and other post-closing documents.
  • Transmit original documents to third party original document custodian.
  • Prepare loan boarding input documents for loan servicer.
  • Transmit completed files to internal loan file custodian.
  • Assis in ordering office supplies and organizing team building events.
  • Any other duties that you may be assigned by office manager or senior organizational leadership.
  • Other Responsibilities may include:
    • Work on special projects as assigned
    • Assists origination credit officers as needed
    • Assists asset managers on working out relationships as needed
    • Participates in periodic meetings with Commercial Lending and Senior Management to monitor portfolio trends and specific asset performance
    • Demonstrates behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

 

  • Four (4) Year college degree (Bachelor) preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Strong, clear and concise communication skills including ability to write and orally present workout strategies.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems independently.
  • Desire to contribute in a variety of ways to the overall success of the enterprise.
