Real Estate Associate Financial Analyst-Eaton Vance

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in certain financing and reporting activities for a national multi-sector portfolio of over 125 properties with a value in excess of $7 billion. 

The individual will be involved in all aspects of finance and related activities of the Real Estate Investment Group, including assisting with property level financings, the procurement and management of the property level insurance program, financial analysis, financial reporting and valuation.  Individual will report to REIG Finance Manager and will work collaboratively with other professionals inside and outside the Real Estate Investment Group, including asset management, transactions, fund administration, legal and financial reporting.

• (50% of time) Preparation of monthly and quarterly report packages and analyses
• (25% of time) Assisting on Fund level and real estate level financing activities (fund credit facilities and property level mortgage debt)
• (10% of time) Assist with financial reporting, insurance and cash management functions
• (15% of time)  Assisting REIG finance team and other members of the REIG with ad hoc financial analysis, financial modeling and projects

• Bachelor’s degree with major related to real estate, accounting or finance.
• Working toward or having a CPA or CFA is a plus.
• Real estate related work experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced spreadsheet knowledge and advanced computer skills as well as a strong math orientation and numerical aptitude.  Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential. 
• Strong customer service orientation toward both internal and external customers is required.
