Real Estate Advisory Services

The Position
Our Associate role offers a unique opportunity for professionals to play a meaningful role in our real estate advisory practice, while gaining hands-on experience. Associates play an integral role in supporting leadership with research, analysis and execution of transactional real estate assignments for leading public and private institutional investors, real estate developers, healthcare systems, and academic institutions.
- Assignments are typically in excess of $50,000,000 and are located throughout the country.
- The Associate will be heavily involved throughout each phase of the deal process, including business development research, financial analysis of potential transactions, and monitoring the due diligence / closing process.
- Day-to-day tasks will involve extensive research and document review, creation of marketing materials and analysis using Word, Excel, Argus, PowerPoint, and managing multiple internal deliverables simultaneously.
- The position will be increasingly client facing as the Associate displays appropriate professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record
- Education background in real estate, finance, economics or mathematics are preferred
- Highly motivated, confident and passionate
- Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Ideal candidates will have the ability to adapt, manage projects independently, and assume a high level of responsibility as a productive member of the team
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and function within a team
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Argus Enterprise
- Current permanent US work authorization required
- Preference given to prior experience with general office, medical office or healthcare real estate
- Preference given to prior employment at real estate firm (investment, advisory, brokerage)
Education - Bachelor’s degree required

- Work is regularly performed in a combination of home office and client settings and routinely uses standard office equipment.
