General Purpose of Job/Summary:

UE is seeking a full-time team member to partner with the Senior Vice President, Tax Director and Chief Operating Officer in all asset management and financing functions. The candidate will assist in all business decisions related to operating, redeveloping and managing our 16 million square foot portfolio comprised of retail, industrial and self storage assets.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player with strong analytical skills and a desire to be involved in all aspects of the real estate business. The position will be based in Paramus, NJ and New York City with limited travel throughout the Northeast. Flexible work from home environment is included.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide primary analytical support to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
• Create detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Work with many different departments (development, accounting, leasing, acquisitions) to create recommendations on strategic business plans.
• Analytics relating to portfolio operations including real estate tax appeals and operating costs.
• Draft investment memorandums.
• Support the onboarding of new acquisitions and assisting the transactions team in coordinating information for dispositions.
• Attend networking, industry and market functions.

Job Qualifications:

Required

• The candidate should have 1-3 years of analytical experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to work on varied projects required.
• Attention to detail a priority.
• Curiosity about many facets of the real estate business.
• Prior real estate experience preferred but not mandatory.

Education/Experience:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college.
• 3-5 years of professional experience.
