Job Description
Madison is looking for a highly motivated, organized individual to assist in the coordination, and execution of fundraising deliverables to prospective investors as well as marketing and communication to existing investors. The role will report to the Vice President, Investor Relations.
The Investor Relations Associate role will be to support and maintain Madison's client relationships across its multiple funds. This individual will work in partnership with investments, marketing, and portfolio management to prepare client marketing materials, and manage investor reporting.
You will
- Manage marketing materials (pitch decks, track record, fund snapshots, etc.)
- Create presentations for prospective investors
- Respond to ad-hoc investor requests for information and investment analysis
- Contribute to marketing and communications related projects as requested
- Assist in administration of Intralinks virtual data room
- Create content for transactional press releases
- Assist in production and distribution of investor quarterly reports
- Handle industry and newspaper publication requests
You have
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience (IR, real estate, finance)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized and detail-oriented, ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Commitment to high quality work product and attention to detail
- Highly motivated, self-starter who can work under pressure and flourish in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Comfortable in a financial environment, working with and talking about private equity fund/investment performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
