Development Associate

Job Description

Redstone Investments is growing, and we are currently hiring for a Development Associate in Tampa, FL. The Development Associate will play an integral role in managing site feasibility, design, permitting, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site and building construction estimates to evaluate the feasibility of deals
• Support phases of the development process including land acquisition, due diligence, and securing necessary approvals/entitlements
• Maintain pro forma projections for development opportunities
• Forecast and manage project budgets
• Coordinate meeting scheduling, document meeting minutes, and file organization as needed
• Assist in the day-to-day management of development projects including the oversight of project consultants
• Assist in negotiating and drafting contract terms and scope with design consultants and contractors
• Collaborate with entire Development Team for all development-related responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all deliverables relating to active or planned developments

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills, results-driven, with ability to work within a small team
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and analysis
• Microsoft Project or Smartsheet experience desired
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field is required
• 2-3 years of Construction Management or Real Estate Development experience
