JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:
This person will provide analytical and qualitative support for the senior asset managers to ensure successful execution of asset specific business plans and will be involved in business plan execution including oversight of major capital expenditure programs, project timelines, cost controls, budget review, as well as leasing, sales, refinancing and disposition strategies.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of real estate industry experience relevant to the following job responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the business plans for each property to realize opportunities and create value including involvement in leasing objectives, operating budgets and capital projects
- Drive analytics and track performance of investments including updating investment models, valuation models and performing hold/sell analyses. Evaluate leasing opportunities with NER calculations. Analyze operating performance of assets via actual vs. budget comparisons. Track changes in the market, property and business plans
- Act as a team player with strong interpersonal/communication skills, and be able interact with lenders and investors in an effective and confident manner
- Work in conjunction with project management and construction teams on tenant improvements and capital projects
- Engage and direct third-party vendors including brokers, industry third parties and construction professionals
- Contribute transaction experience, ideally on the principal side across multiple asset classes.
- Display an understanding of key legal agreements including leases, purchase and sale agreements, management and agency agreements, operating and partnership agreements, and loan documents
- Advise and assist on new acquisitions and in establishing property performance objectives; assist with recapitalizations and dispositions of assets
- Proficiency in Excel and Argus required
COMPENSATION:
Total compensation (salary plus bonus) will be commensurate with the experience level of the candidate.
