DoveHill Capital Management (“DoveHill”) is seeking an Vice President of acquisitions to support its rapid growth across various hospitality-focused investment platforms centered around lifestyle and experiential full service properties.

About the Role
The Vice President of Acquisitions will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of the deal process cycle including, but not limited to, underwriting, market analysis, coordination of due diligence, preparation of investment memorandums and executive-level presentations, closing logistics, financing and working with the asset management and construction team on the execution of the investment thesis.
The role will interface directly with a variety of groups within DoveHill including Development, Asset Management, and Operations.
How you will contribute

Manage the full cycle of a hospitality transaction including sourcing, negotiating, due diligence, funding, and presentations to the Investment Committee

Identify acquisitions that align with firm strategy and investment themes

Underwrite a variety of hospitality investment opportunities in the full service and lifestyle categories using Excel-based underwriting models, including complex cash flow, budget, IRR and fund/partnership waterfall modeling

Conduct thorough market analysis for real estate acquisition targets

Oversee the due diligence process across all aspects of the transaction including physical, financial, legal, and operational due diligence

Leverage industry relationships within the hospitality investment community to source acquisition opportunities

Prepare investment memorandums for the firm’s investment committee and outside partners

Create executive-level presentations to support the deal process, including preparation of RFP responses and ad hoc presentations to other external and internal parties

Manage the debt and equity placement process

Manage / Lead the closing process including coordination with title companies on settlement statement and escrow, confirmation of insurance, and obtaining necessary internal approvals

Work in collaboration with the asset management and on-property management teams following acquisitions for initial operating forecasts, capital expenditure plans, and other needs

7-10 years of experience in direct hospitality investing
