Company Overview:

Tourmaline Capital Partners, LLC (“TCP”) is a newly-formed, Philadelphia-based real estate private equity firm that focuses on opportunistic office investments throughout the Continental United States.  TCP, along with its capital partners, intends to be one of the most acquisitive office investors in the U.S. over the coming years and is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to support its growth efforts.

The Analyst will work directly with the firm’s executive team in all capacities to source, underwrite, diligence, manage, and sell investments.

 

Job Description

  • Underwrite new acquisitions
  • Build, maintain, and sensitize Argus and Microsoft Excel financial models
  • Analyze, research, and opine on underwriting assumptions; liaise with market participants including leasing brokers, capital market brokers, and owners
  • Manage investment due diligence process
  • Draft investment memorandums and prepare market research; participate in capital raising efforts and field questions from capital partners
  • Assist in procurement of property financing; manage diligence and loan closing processes with lenders
  • Develop, build, and foster strong relationships in TCP’s target markets to assist in sourcing efforts
  • Utilize data to formulate research-based investment strategies
  • Support all other company initiatives as required

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics with strong GPA
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Expertise with Argus and Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus)
  • Familiarity with office investments
  • Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and independent
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and detail-oriented
