Real Estate Analyst

Job Description

We are an experienced construction, brokerage and real estate development firm based in New York City. We are currently focused on ground-up development of condo and rental apartment buildings in the five boroughs. 

The analyst will assist in the underwriting, sourcing, and assessment of all potential inbound projects. This person will interact with lenders, brokers, and help with closing both debt and equity funding of projects. The candidate must be able to effectively work in teams as well as manage a clear and organized process with all the various different tasks assigned to them.

Must have excellent analytic and communication skills, and excellent knowledge of MS Excel. Must have a full understanding of Real Estate Proformas and the ability to adjust proformas on an ongoing basis.

We are currently seeking a candidate for Acquisition Analyst.  Assignments will include an analysis of our current markets along with potential target markets.

Candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Vast knowledge of Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, and New York City Real Estate
- Very strong financial modeling skills 
- Familiarity with Argus/ Sage/ Yardi is very helpful
- Understand market trends and forecasting of potential returns and risks associated with the returns. 
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of construction, Hard and Soft cost budgeting 
- Experience with lenders and construction loan documents.

The Acquisition Analyst will work with our acquisition team to identify and underwrite multifamily prospects for acquisition.

Candidates must possess sophisticated communication capabilities coupled with high energy, enthusiasm and persistence.  Proficiency in financial modeling.  College degree required.  Some multifamily real estate experience a plus.  This position involves moderate travel.
