Job Description

The Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® is searching for a CEO to lead and grow their 10,000+ member association by increasing visibility and managing a for-profit and not-for-profit organization. The chief executive officer is responsible for all administration and management of the association and the Multiple Listing Service with over 13,000 members. The CEO positions the organization based on envisioned real estate industry needs and is the leader and spokesperson for the association. The CEO is visionary, identifies and articulates trends and their impact on business and industry, and recommends actions. The CEO is responsible for governance of association structures and organization operations, physical and financial resources, member services, internal and external relations, and Multiple Listing Service operations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in engaging volunteer leaders and effective board relations, the ability to influence others through effective communication, be able to read a room, lead by example, make timely decisions, engage and build a team, and think strategically. The candidate should have a history of growing organizations and bringing them to the next level.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience at the senior leadership level. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

The position is located in an ideal centrally located area providing easy access to beaches at the famous Jersey shore, close to great restaurants, lots of recreational activities, and is close to New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City.
