Position Description
:

Monday Properties is currently seeking an Analyst Intern to support the Acquisitions and Capital Transactions group.  The position will be located in the Arlington, Virginia office and will require close interaction and collaboration with the accounting, leasing, and property management professionals of the company.  Although defined as a position emphasizing detailed financial analysis, this role will provide an exceptional foundation for professional growth in many areas of real estate investment and ownership.

 

The primary responsibilities of the position are:

  • Underwrite potential acquisition, development and joint-venture opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain property investment cash flow projections in Excel and Argus.
  • Support transaction timeline, due diligence and data collection efforts.
  • Research trends impacting real estate fundamentals and investment activity.
  • Author financing and joint-venture materials.
  • Input and maintain Pipeline Deals content.
  • Provide overall support for investment initiatives.

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Majoring in Business, Real Estate or Finance
  • Prior internship experience in commercial real estate specifically in office and multifamily preferred.
  • Superior analytical skills, attention to detail and overall interest in commercial real estate ownership and investment.
  • Expertise with Excel and Argus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Energy and commitment to work in high-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to think independently and anticipate next steps.
  • Experience in the MD/VA area only
