GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Acquisitions Analyst will work with JRK’s Acquisitions team in analyzing prospective multifamily investments across the country.  The Analyst is responsible for underwriting new investments via modeling projected returns, corresponding with listing brokers, and assessing the merits and feasibility of each project closely alongside the rest of the Acquisitions team.  The Analyst also plays integral roles in JRK’s due diligence process once a target investment has been identified and will participate in site visits and market assessments.  The Analyst will also directly assist in accumulating and evaluating financial information for property dispositions and refinances of JRK’s existing portfolio.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate from competitive university
  • Team player with excellent analytical and reasoning skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible, accountable, and mature
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highest levels of honesty, integrity and ethics
  • Proficient in personal computer skills and in business-related computer software.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of VBA a plus)
  • Prior work experience in a financial analysis capacity
