Job Description:
The firm is seeking a Commercial Mortgage Loan Originator to source, originate and underwrite debt and equity financing opportunities. This includes calling on new and existing customers as well as producing investment packages which will entail analyzing financial data, performing market research on comparable leasing/sales transactions. The ideal candidate fulfills the qualifications below and is consistently available to conduct business via cell phone and email (afterhours, weekends, nights).
Job Qualifications:
- At least 5 years in commercial real estate mortgage brokerage/commercial lending strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate or related field strongly preferred
- Self-motivated individual eager to solicit new business consistently via cold calls, meetings and networking events
- Possesses effective sales/marketing skills with proven results
- Detail-oriented with effective time management skills
- Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and networking skills
- Excellent oral/written communication skills including negotiating abilities and customer service
