Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Generate new business meetings for senior brokerage team members by making prospecting phone calls to potential clients, utilizing social media or other networking techniques
  • Sell the skillset of the brokerage team to prospects
  • Learn the intricacies of the NYC real estate market
  • Become knowledgeable on Savills services and basic concepts of tenant representation
  • Establish and maintain database for tracking prospects in Salesforce
  • Conduct web-based research of prospects
  • Engage with industry, professional and charitable associations to build relationships
  • Develop sales strategies and follow-up materials
  • Assist the Team in executing and closing real estate transactions, including preparing analyses of different real estate options, conducting building tours, participating in negotiating sessions and managing transaction documentation
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned 

 

The qualified candidate will possess the following: 

  • Two to five years’ experience selling products or services to senior executives, including CEOs, CFOs & COOs of major NYC-based organizations (experience selling real estate services preferred, but not required)
  • Strong personal initiative and desire to succeed in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment
  • Tenacity and fearlessness in pursuit of business opportunities
  • An understanding of the challenges of a sales environment (rejection and time required to make money)
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well individually and in a collaborative team environment
  • High level of excellence in both written and verbal communication, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Consistently demonstrate a high level of performance and professionalism, as well as a positive attitude
  • Real estate salesperson license or willingness to obtain one
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power Point
  • Proficiency with InDesign a plus
