About Merlone Geier Partners
Merlone Geier Partners is a fully integrated private real estate investment and operating company founded in 1993. We formed our first investment fund in 1994 and have raised a total of $2.3 billion in discretionary capital commitments in ten funds. Our latest fund closed in February 2011 with $600 million in commitments. To date these funds have acquired more than 90 properties representing over 13 million square feet of gross leasable area and 1,500 acres of land. We pursue a value-add approach to our investments and invest strictly in retail and retail-driven mixed use properties on the West Coast. More specifically, we focus on neighborhood and community shopping centers anchored by grocery stores, drug stores and/or value-oriented promotional retailers.
