Stonetown Capital is a new real estate private equity firm based in Denver, Co. Stonetown focuses on high-yielding opportunistic investments in a variety of property sectors. Likely sectors in 2011-2012 include multifamily, manufactured housing and hospitality. We access opportunities via note sales, special servicer relationships, broker contacts and direct conversations with asset owners. Rarely will Stonetown participate in a  traditional brokered auction. Stonetown is headed by a long-time Goldman Sachs property investor, with a deep and broad investment resume.

The Denver-based job opening is for a self-starting professional with 2-3 years analyst experience in the real estate field. Excel proficiency is a must alongside research and writing skills. The successful applicant will be a core member of a team seeking to grow a business started in 2010. Acqusitions will be a main responsibility but financing, asset management, capital raising and reporting are part of the job as well.
