Rochester Institute of Technology

RIT is a multifaceted university located on a modern 1,300-acre suburban campus in Rochester, N.Y. The university offers more than 200 options in its professional career programs and delivers courses on-campus, online and in numerous international locations. The university enrolls more than 12,000 undergraduate students who come to RIT from all 50 states and more than 90 countries.

The CETEMS department has 10 full-time faculty, 30 part-time faculty, and approximately 330 students. CETEMS offers three bachelor of science and one master of science degree programs. Each program uses project-based education to prepare students in their field of study and has a required co-operative industrial experience. RIT and the department have a strong career focus in their programs and thus have an outstanding record of successfully preparing students for industry. In 2008, CETEMS will move to its new building that will feature state-of-the-art facilities.
