CityView is a national institutional real estate investor based in Los Angeles, California commited to funding developers and homebuilders in urban communities.  In may urban areas, the cost of housing can be well out of reach for most buyers.  CityView partners with builders and developers across the country to produce market rate workforce housing: homes within the price range of workers, such as nurses, firefighters and police officers.  Their focus is on opportunistic land investments and development in select urban areas with long-term growth potential.

CityView's "Beyond Capital" strategy provides a critical array of services for its partners such as site identification and acquisition, design support, entitlement assistance, insurance, innovative homebuyer financing programs, marketing strategies and coordination with community and inter-governmental agencies. 

CityView has a current equity allocation of $725 million from 4 public pension funds including CalPERS to build quality, market-rate homes for working families.  To date, CityView has financed the constrction of nearly 7,000 homes across 12 states.
