Cherokee Investment Services Company, Inc. (“CIS”) provides administrative support to a family of affiliated companies (“Cherokee”) that acquire environmentally impaired assets, remediate them and return them to productive use. Since 1990, Cherokee has acquired over 500 properties in the United States, Canada and Europe. Cherokee is led by CIS’ affiliate, Cherokee Investment Partners, a private equity firm that recently closed on its fourth investment fund, with committed equity in excess of $1 billion.
