About The CEO

About the CEO

Abraham Kassin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Kassin Sabbagh Realty. He has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and has extensive experience in acquisitions, asset management, development, leasing and investment sales. Working alongside Morris Sabbagh, his broad industry expertise and big-picture mentality have allowed the firm to expand exponentially over the past decade. Abraham began his career in real estate at the Savoy Group, where he worked alongside Jacob Frydman in underwriting and acquiring assisted living facilities and active adult communities along the Eastern Seaboard. At Savoy, he was personally responsible for building out the firm's medical office portfolio and dealing with the development, leasing and legal components of these deals. Abraham then joined First Sigma Capital and led the asset management and leasing functions for the firm's portfolio, which included office, hotel, residential and mixed-use properties in New York City. In this capacity, he was responsible for both maximizing returns on the firm's existing portfolio as well as pursuing new opportunities. In 2006, Abraham formed KSR's predecessor, Furnished Dwellings, with Morris Sabbagh. Abraham's focus on the big picture and emphasis on asset optimization has allowed KSR to grow extensively over the past decade. Like Morris, he has played a significant part in the firm's sales, leases and acquisitions since its inception, and has been directly involved in over $1.5 Billion in transactions on both the buy and sell side. Furthermore, Abraham's belief in optimizing both time and capital has led him to partake in larger, more complex transactions; by drawing upon his extensive skillset and experience, he is able to generate higher returns in a relatively short time frame. Abraham believes that each unique situation can be a learning experience and a stepping-stone to further success, and he has helped build KSR upon this idea.
