About The CEO

About the CEO

Michael Weisz co-founded Yieldstreet in 2015 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. His guiding vision is to democratize access to private market alternative investments, making them a fundamental component of investor portfolios.

Michael's founding premise challenged the traditional 60/40 portfolio model, asserting that individual investors require access to private markets — opportunities historically limited to institutions and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Under Michael's leadership, Yieldstreet has facilitated portfolio diversification for over 500,000 members across real estate, private credit, legal finance, art, and more. Over $4 billion has been invested through the platform and over $2.2 billion has been returned to investors.

Before founding Yieldstreet, Michael served as Vice President of business development at a New York-based credit opportunities hedge fund and founded Soli Capital, a specialty finance company, where he held the position of Chief Investment Officer.

Beyond his leadership at Yieldstreet, Michael is involved in a variety of foundations, including the non-profit United Hatzalah, and serves on the boards of the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach, the Yieldstreet Foundation, and Art Scroll. Michael's philanthropic efforts focus on fostering talent development through enhanced educational initiatives.
