Hillcrest, based in New York City, is a real estate investment management firm specializing in the acquisition/origination and management of high quality, middle-market, U.S. first mortgage and subordinate (mezzanine and preferred equity) credit solutions on behalf of the firm’s institutional investors through separate accounts and a commingled discretionary fund. The Firm is owned and operated by industry veterans Kathleen “Kathy” Corton and Sharon Ann M. “Samm” Miller who have track records spanning several business cycles owning, operating, financing, and investing in equity and debt in office, industrial, retail, multi-family, and lodging assets across the U.S.
