Planning Manager
Description
The Planning Manager (PM) will assist the developers in preliminary stages of due diligence and assessment of potential development sites. Responsibilities will include researching zoning requirements and uses, project concept development to determine mix and density, site plan design and basic massing sketches for presentation purposes. The PM will also work with development team members to take the projects through the entitlement process. The PM will have the opportunity to work directly with principals of the company, and learn about development and construction in a fast paced, exciting environment.
Requirements
- Superior understanding of site plan layout and navigating through zoning regulations
- Extensive experience working with municipalities in the entitlement process
- Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines
- Detailed-oriented qualities are a must
- College education
- Proficient in Autocad
- Tampa-Bay based
Job Summary and Submission Details
- Compensation: $56k-$72k/year plus bonuses, depending on experience
- Location: Tampa
- Start Date: Spring 2015
- Hours of work: Full Time
- Qualifications: architectural or civil engineering degree strongly recommended
