The International Association of Assessing Officers is a nonprofit education organization for property valuation professionals (assessors/appraisers) who generally work in the area of ad valorem taxation (your local property tax assessor). Founded in 1934, our purpose is to educate property valuation professionals and raise the level of professionalism through education, netowrking, and professional standards.
