Leasing Director

New Haven based real estate company looking for an experienced Leasing Director to handle all aspects of leasing, including but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with the brokerage community to lease commercial office space in various properties throughout Connecticut.
• Showing space
• Handling all communications with existing and prospective tenants
• Arranging for test fit floor plans with various architects
• Writing proposals for senior management’s approval including financial analysis of prospective deal
• Finalizing plans with architect, engineer and user
• Working with construction company for build out of space
• Working with attorney on lease documents
• Maintain lease expiration database
• Remain primary contact through renewal process
• Maintain marketing materials including brochures and floor plans for all properties

Qualifications:

This candidate must be very familiar with the Connecticut real estate market with a proven track record. They must be self-motivated, disciplined, goal oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills including negotiating capability. Ability to generate business and establish relationships. Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, financial aptitude with excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work under pressure and independently as well as part of a team.  Valid Real Estate Salespersons License required.
