About the Company

Position The primary responsibilities of the position would include supporting all activities associated with the real estate acquisition group. The primary emphasis will be on sourcing deals, market research, due diligence, underwriting, financial analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, project valuation, project yield analysis, debt analysis, evaluating project assumptions and financial risk, identifying concerns and challenging appropriateness of data and engaging in special projects, deal modeling, waterfalls, splits and tax implications. The applicant would also be required to review, research, compile, and prepare written reports on the due diligence presented as part of the acquisition process; prepare reports, investor presentations, written summaries and investment committee memorandums; coordinate transfer of each transaction upon acquisition; and any additional special projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated flexible, articulate, dedicated and mature individual who thrives in a high-energy, demanding team setting with superior modeling and analytical capabilities. Requirements The successful candidate needs to have a background which includes a minimum of three to five years of real estate acquisition experience focused on modeling, due diligence and deal sourcing. The individual will have a Bachelor degree as a minimum although a MS degree in Real Estate would be preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with Argus real estate software a must. Solid writing, presentation & organizational skills are essential
